Governing the Green Transition: The role of cities and regions – 23.09.2024

Join us for the Green Deal Projects Support Office webinar, which brings together projects that are putting into practice innovative solutions to support the governance of the green transition within regional and local authorities. The webinar will take place on Monday 23 September 2024 at 11:00 – 12:30 CEST.

At this session, the projects will share their experiences, including the challenges encountered and practical solutions developed, as they contribute to EU policy discussions ahead of the forthcoming European Week of Regions and Cities on 7-10 October.

Objectives

This webinar will bring together projects which deal with challenges in governing the green transition. They will discuss and share their experiences in promoting the European Green Deal objectives, by addressing the above challenges at various administrative levels: urban, regional, national and even cross-border.

Additionally, the session will provide insights and ideas that the projects are planning for the forthcoming European Week of Regions and Cities, on 7-10 October 2024.
