The HusKupp clothing market was fully booked well in advance, with a waiting list for those eager to participate. Due to high demand, the organizers expanded the event’s capacity, relocating the market to the city center to accommodate more stalls.
A highlight of the event was the Fæbrik Pop-Up, where four sewing and reuse influencers sold their own products and inspired participants to get started with sewing. They brought patterns, sewing machines, surplus textiles, and all the essentials welcoming anyone curious to explore sewing and crafts. Many visitors had the chance to test Fæbrik’s sewing and overlock machines, and some even began making their very first garments.
“People have way too many clothes, and it’s much better for them to get a new life instead of being thrown away or just lying unused in a closet. It’s fantastic that people can come here to sell and buy. The turnout is amazing – the fact that there are 90 people behind us selling their old things and giving them a new life with someone else, that’s saving the world a little bit,” said Mari Nordén from Fæbrik, who was thrilled to see such strong engagement.
