Poland: Local circular potential workshop – 20.06.2023

TREASoURcE organises an on-site workshop titled “Local Circular Potential: Plastic Waste, Bio-based Streams, and Electric Vehicle Batteries” in Warsaw, Poland on June 20, 2023.

The workshop aims to gather insights on the key factors that need to be considered when implementing circular solutions in the Warsaw area. It also aims to identify your interests, needs, and potential challenges related to plastic waste recycling, utilization of bio-based side and waste streams for biogas and composting, as well as repurposing electric vehicle batteries as stationary energy storage systems.

We will host three parallel sessions dedicated to each of the value chains, allowing for detailed discussions on the developed circular solutions and exploring their potential for further adoption and replication. The sessions will focus on the following topics:

  •  Plastic waste recycling
  • Bio-based side and waste streams
  •  Electric vehicle batteries as stationary energy storage systems

The event will take place in Warsaw at Rektorska 4 Street, within the premises of Warsaw University of Technology. The workshop will commence at 9:30 am and conclude at 3:00 pm.

We extend a warm welcome to local stakeholders from the Warsaw area, including representatives from the municipality and regional authorities, industries involved or interested in these areas, as well as supportive stakeholders such as policymakers and funding organizations. Your active participation in this interactive and open discussion will greatly contribute to identifying local needs, challenges, and motivations for embracing the developed open-access systemic circular economy solutions.
