Are you ready to be at the forefront of the plastics revolution? VTT cordially invites you and your organisation to participate in our upcoming industry-focused webinar, Circular Plastic Value Chain, taking place on 18 May 2026 (10:00–12:00 EEST).
The webinar provides direct access to experts in mechanical and chemical recycling. They will present recent innovations in recycling processes, advanced upgrading methods, and ongoing efforts to standardize plastics analysis. Discover cutting-edge strategies and practical insights emerging from the TREASoURcE project, which is driving the transformation of circular economy practices across cities and regions.
Don’t miss this opportunity to help shape the future of the plastics industry. Save the date and join us for an engaging and informative event. You will also have the chance to interact with our experts and share your questions and perspectives throughout the webinar.
TREASoURcE – Success highlights in chemical recycling & upgrading
- Demonstrated catalytic conversion of mixed plastic waste into BTX aromatics (benzene, toluene, xylenes) as a high-value chemical product stream.
- Showed strong contaminant removal and oil quality improvement through upgrading (incl. deep dechlorination and stabilization).
- Progressed from lab screening towards bench/pilot-scale operation and validated separation/analysis approaches to support industrial specifications.
